Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to proactively fight anxiousness by placing themselves in a better position both physically and psychologically. My students are confined to our classroom for a solid four hours each day. Seating options would give them a break from sitting in one place and position for the entire time. While it is not uncommon for a student to be able to sit for this long, it is also not uncommon for a student to struggle with sitting for this long. Your donations will afford my students the options of seats that wiggle, bounce, or cushion their bottoms and allow them to endure the long morning class time without the distraction of boredom, anxiety, or discomfort. With these distractions eliminated, students will be more focused on learning the skills and materials being taught. Children are eager to learn and grow. An environment of confidence and flexibility will impact their ability to do so and play a crucial part in their academic journey.
