My students live in severe poverty. Though our state has defined visual arts standards for 4th grade, our school is unable to support a teacher or supplies for this class. We want our students to have every opportunity for success that we can give them. We would like to give them a chance at learning artistry skills and hopefully inspire future career opportunities for these worthy learners. By donating to this project, students will learn standards-based visual arts skills and give them a leg-up for future lessons in middle and high school with these art supplies and paper. You might just be the catalyst for the next great artist of our time. Even so, these students will be given a chance they won't get without your help. It may make the difference that keeps these students in school through graduation by helping them find a strong connection and value in their education.
