I am looking to acquire flexible seating options for my students so that they can move freely about the classroom and feel comfortable in their learning environment. I have a hard time focusing when I’m trapped in a desk and I’ve found that many students feel the same way. Seating options like rugs and cozy seats will give students the chance to feel truly at ease while they learn. They are also excellent options for collaborative group activities among students because they allow them to sit together in a comfortable fashion that is conducive to moving and working with their peers. A new seating arrangement can open a student’s mind and help them feel refreshed and excited about being at school. Whether students are reading independently, meeting for literature circles, working on STEM projects, or exploring with math manipulatives, these seating options will be a great help to them.
