Each donation has a "home" within the walls of our classroom. We just need your assistance in bringing them into our care. The purpose of this project is to increase my students' competency and understanding of their new literary world. The bins with lids will help with organizing each class's assignments. The workbooks and flashcards will assist in students building literary competency alongside. The books will provide more interesting reading materials for daily reading and writing tasks. In 6th grade ELA, students are exposed to far more literature and engaging literary activities. This is where the workbooks and reading materials come into play. My students will be participating in the Socratic seminars and frequent writing workshops. The reading material will assist with Socratic seminars while the workbooks will assist with the writing workshops. This project will help my students expand their horizons within their new literary world at the middle level. Your assistance will help them transition into middle-level ELA and get on track to being independent readers, writers, and thinkers.
