A reading and writing corner in my classroom will not only allow my students to practice and develop reading and writing skills but also help students make meaning while reading. These materials will allow me to create an interactive, inviting, and colorful area for all of my students to enjoy during reading and writing instruction throughout the day. Students will have a place to foster their reading and writing skills, while also being comfortable and involved in their learning space. These materials can be used to benefit students for multiple years in a variety of different age groups.
