Lectures, worksheets, and videos don’t work for every learner; there are learners who benefit from putting their hands on a physical example and being able to move things around in front of them. Having things such as number lines, games, and flexible seating options give students additional opportunity to focus and learn given alternative options to see and experience concepts while being comfortable. Especially in an age where so much of what kids experience is digital, they should have the tools they need within reach to actually see another example of instruction.
