As a first year teacher, it is challenging to supply my students with all of the materials they need. This project will allow my students to use math manipulative for hands on activities for kinesthetic learners. The clip boards and whiteboards will allow for stations/small group work. The posters will be hung around the classroom to help the classroom feel more inviting and to serve as a helpful reminder for basic math ideas. I have high expectations this school year and with these items there will be no doubt that my students will reach them!
