This project will allow the students to have hands-on engineering experience to be able to shape the future of RCS. The lego sets will target developing their engineering skills along with their artistic abilities. These materials will be used for our STEAM class, but also available to other staff if they want to bring a hands-on activity to their classroom! The architecture sets not only allow the students to create, but they will also be able to connect to standards in science and social studies. As the students build, they can study the time period or an event that happened and research how they calculated the building's figures using their mathematics skills. Also, how they engineered the structure using their science background. The final key connection for the students is to allow their creativity flow throughout their learning.
