The materials on our Make 5th Grade Cozy! project will only be used within our classroom. I will be teaching Social Studies and English, and we would love to have some things to make our room comfy and enjoyable to promote our learning! Research has been done on student learning, regarding the kinds of lighting within classrooms. Many sources have proven that warm, cozy lighting creates a learning environment that feels calm, comfortable, and relaxed. Students feel more at home within their classroom and mentally prepared to learn, with a setting like this. That is exactly what I want to create for my students, and how I want our classroom to feel. Please help us create a classroom environment that is welcoming and a safe place to grow! We appreciate it so much!
