Being an educator is not a weekday, eight-month job. I do not hang my coat up on the rack at the closing of the year and rest, nor once the students wave their last goodbyes as the last bus drives away do I forget about them. My job is never done. I only stopped momentarily to think about the students who have passed through my doors and where they are now. I strive to acquire and pursue knowledge through continued education that will help me build my skills in the library that will benefit all my students.
