Research shows us that students do not always leave school with all the skills they need to be successful in college and career. We want to change that at RFKCHS. We have an awesome student body and they respond really well to positive incentives. To support our student's growth we opened a student store as part of a student reward program in the 2021/2022 school year. In this reward program students earn points for building positive college and career habits in the areas of character, organization, positive behaviors, readiness for work, and academics. Our staff will be on the lookout for students engaged in things like coming prepared to class, engaged in teamwork, attending tutoring to understand a difficult concept, and other things. The things that shape a student into a person who is successful within the classroom but also outside in the business world. When we see those behaviors we will reward the students with COBRA Cards. These cards can be spent at the cobra store for items that the teens are wanting such as fidgets, games, art supplies and other rewards students are looking for. By donating to our project you will be helping to motivate our students to build lifelong career skills that will benefit them and the community. We have the program ready all we need is your help in filling our store shelves with products that teens will want to work for. We want to offer positive incentives that include games, art supplies, and snacks that students can use to engage in activities that they enjoy. If the rewards are desirable the students will be motivated to work for them.
