I am a first-year teacher and my classroom has not been set up yet. We have very few books on our bookshelves. With students returning to school in person this year, they will need a variety of books to read not only in school but also to take home with them in their book baggies. Students tend to take 10 books home a week, and I have 20 students. So we essentially need 200 books a week to be checked out by my students. Please help my students not only learn how to read but learn to love reading. You will make a huge difference in each of their lives.
