These hands-on learning tools are just what our students need after more than a year of staring at a screen for learning. Students will get to explore, discover, and experience the joys of learning, again. These science and math tools are what students missed out on while they were virtually learning during the pandemic. Many children learn best when they get to experience it first hand. I know I enjoy teaching more when I see the students smiles as they learn by doing. There is a huge achievement gap in our students. With your help, we can reach those students that fell behind because they didn't have what they deserved while learning at home. By funding this project, students will learn to use a real thermometer. They will understand mathematic concepts by seeing them, instead of memorizing an algorithm. They will learn what microscopes are capable of, and in return learn all they are capable of achieving!
