As a first year teacher, I am trying to gather everything I need to build a classroom community for my future students. I have included a lot of supplies that are essential to a classroom. I am trying to create a classroom that is safe and organized, I want my 5th graders to be able to be independent in the classroom. I want to provide the learning experience that each of my students needs to succeed. The dry eraser dots will be great for small group time, especially for math instruction. I have also included erasers for those dots as well. These are great for visual and "hands on" learners. I included anchor chart paper for my visual learners. I will be able to create visual, colorful charts for various concepts. I will be able to get a lot of materials for my students from Teachers Pay Teachers. It gives teachers a lot of helpful, useful resources to provide our students with the best instruction and activities. I want my classroom to be a place my students enjoy coming, so I would like to make it as comfortable as I can.
