After being virtual for over a year and a half, my students are finally returning to the classroom. They have been without the daily structure, attention and learning they have been accustomed to. Returning to school after dealing with a pandemic will be a new experience for them. Things will not be "business as usual". There will be some needed changes that will have to take place. It is my desire to make their transition back to the classroom as smooth as possible. Having access to personal protective equipment and supplies will make this transition as less stressful as possible. When students enter the classroom, they will have access to a sanitizing station that will be at the front of the classroom. This station will include Kleenex wipes, sanitizer, masks and disinfecting wipes. Students will clean their areas before leaving class. The hand sanitizer will allow students to sanitize their hands as often as needed. These materials will make a tremendous impact in my classroom.
