My aim is to create a brave space in my classroom where everyone participates. By meeting the needs of the students and allowing them to understand that this is their classroom as well as mine, I hope to create a collaborative space where all of my students contribute to the learning and teaching happening. By removing the barriers that occur when students don't have access to resources I can give their brains more space to grapple with the material. Please help me provide them with items like a printer, tea kettle, and reliable classroom tools like the sharpener and stapler, and ensure that I don't become a gatekeeper of the resources in our classroom.
