These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by opening the door to literature. From reading these novels, the students can meet literature standards, improve their oral language and speaking skills, develop critical thinking through discussions and grand conversations and collaboration in small groups. Students can use these books to develop conversations at home as they use a choice board for tasks to share character traits, plot diagrams, and posing questions to family to name a few. Through the literature, each chapter would be read together, vocabulary taught, grammar, comprehension skills and standards met as students relate to the literature giving text to text, text to self and text to world connections.

About my class
