My first-grade students are hard-working, active, and excited learners. In order to be successful and reach their maximum potential, each and every child must feel comfortable in their learning environment. Sitting at a desk all day can lead to fatigue and a lack of motivation. This flexible seating set will not only help my students feel comfortable while they are learning, but it will encourage movement and an excitement for learning. It will foster collaboration with their peers while helping build cooperation and teamwork skills. This new flexible seating option will allow students to have choices throughout the day to meet their individualized needs and to keep learning fun and engaging. My goal is to create a space where my young scholars feel comfortable and excited to learn and come to school.
