The whiteboard will allow for space for the students and me to work together as a whole. It will allow us to manipulate materials being magnetic, show multiple ways of thinking (because we all learn differently) in one place, and be an ever-changing home for encouraging words in our classroom. The bulletin board will be placed directly outside of our classroom with a rotation of encouraging words, motivational quotes, and thought-provoking questions. My students thrive on being able to show and explain their thinking. The bulletin board will get their mind going before they enter our door and the whiteboard will be the landing board for learning throughout the day!
