All these items will be used in class to let students express themselves through pictures with colored markers, and writing with pens and pencils. We love to make copies so students can bring these home to multiple households that many of them live in. We want them to be motivated to original thinking and imagination and not worry about the supplies they need to accomplish it. Too many of our students are low-income and divided families and copies of their work to display at school and take home will help parents and guardians see projects firsthand because they often do not get to the school to see their child's work. We hope to bring out the creativity we know all students have. We will have contests and prizes like label makers, for them to display their work and copies to take home. Though we have some supplies, new housing is coming to this area and we are expecting many more students in the next school year.
