Our first grade classroom, is warm and cozy but we need different sized and types of seating to allow the students to be as comfortable as possible. During independent and small group work times students are more engaged when they are moving around and have a choice of location in the classroom that works for them, having some flexible seating added along with interactive games to engage their learning will be great. We also love to create stories and art to go with our writings, to foster creativity and the multicultural supplies will allow for my students to actively express themselves and create freely. Art is a great way to build connections with students and their environments.
