These materials will allow me to plan lessons for my students that incorporate creative thinking, self expression, and accommodate to different learning styles. I am wanting a lot of different art supplies for my third graders, because this allows them to freely express themselves. I will have them use these supplies for fun learning activities, free time as a reward, variety of lessons, etc. I am wanting the birthday supplies, because I believe that birthdays are special days to celebrate an individual. I want to acknowledge my students birthdays as it is important for me as a teacher. Lastly, I really would like flexible seating for guided reading groups or desk chairs for students. This will allow everyone to focus on their school work as I accommodate to different learning styles within the classroom. I am super excited about teaching my new students and need a few more things for them. My goal is to create a hands-on and engaging environment for my students to learn and grow! I need some new supplies for my students to freely express themselves through projects and engaging activities. The class is very small as it is no more than 20 students. It is a small enough class for me to have many art projects through lessons! It is so important to me as a first year teacher to have these crucial supplies in my classroom to give my students what they need. I would be so ecstatic if I received these donations for my classroom. I would use them to the fullest extent with my students. I would be able to have engaging and interactive lessons!
