With these magazines, my students will experience high interest, socially relevant texts that create a print rich environment to help their reading and writing levels soar! They will become better readers and writers as they become actively involved in academic discourse and ELA projects as they voraciously read Storyworks texts! These magazines provide lessons in 3rd grade ELA standards with vocabulary and language lessons. They also have practice in writing summaries, compare and contrasting, and in reading comprehension. Having these materials available in hard copy for the classroom as well as a digital copy enables the students to work in class and at home.
