As a first year teacher, I am just starting off my classroom library. The most important thing to me at the start of the year was to build relationships with my students and make them feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable asking questions. After getting to know my students over the past few months, I know what types of books will interest them and inspire them to read more. Please consider being one of the first donors to help me build my classroom library with books and bins. Not only will my 3rd graders appreciate the books this year, but so will my future classes. Books are a treasure that cannot be overlooked, and each student deserves an expansive selection to captivate and inspire them.
