The materials I am requesting for our classroom will help my students increase their engagement. My students learn in various ways. While some can focus while just sitting at their desks, there are many students that need a little more motivation to complete their tasks. I have some students that love to work on the floor, so that is where those lap desks and surf floor seats will come in handy. The wiggle stools and balance balls are for my learners that often need to get out those wiggles, wobbles, or nervous energy (especially when testing). The floor cushions and bean bag chairs will offer a great space in our reading corner and will be a great addition to our pillows to make our reading corner a little cozier. By implementing flexible seating in our class, my students will be able to focus more during our lessons, small group sessions, and independent work time because they will be able to be in a space that is geared toward the way they learn.
