I teach visual art at a public, elementary school in Brooklyn where children develop a love for learning in a nurturing and enriched educational environment. We are equally concerned about young people's social and emotional development. The school works toward creating an atmosphere of mutual respect. The arts are important in our school community, however funding can often be an issues. Donors Choose has been a wonderful resource when issues arise.
