I strive to create a welcoming environment in my office where students feel comfortable and safe even on their worst days. My office is a haven for students needing an outlet from the rest of the building and it is common for students, parents and teachers alike to say "wow, it feels so cozy in here". I would love to extend the coziness of my office to our lobby. All students should feel welcomed into our School Counseling Office and feel that level of comfort from the moment they walk in the front door. Lighting is huge part of creating that feeling and the glaring florescent lights in our lobby are very off-putting and can even trigger migraines. Octo Lights Fluorescent Light Covers eliminate harsh glare causing eyestrain and headaches. They also set a comforting mood that makes tension and anxiety decrease almost instantly.
