As the school nurse, I am working to develop a comprehensive health curriculum that will incorporate everything from basic health needs, mental health and nutrition to puberty and development. This curriculum will benefit all students and give them the knowledge and skills necessary to lead long, healthy lives. This teaching easel will allow me to travel between classrooms with my health education supplies and provide instruction for my students without interrupting the classroom learning environment, or I can also take my students outdoors and continue instruction without interruptions. In addition, this will allow me to prepare my lessons ahead of time, saving me time while in the classrooms, as I may get called away to an emergency at any moment.
