Help me give my students books at their reading level and to learn about the diversity that is present in the world. Our students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. The books that are chosen to add to the classroom libraries, offer a range of culturally authentic literature. They are writers and artists of color who published books about everyone, for everyone. They have lived and experienced the cultures they are writing about in their books, stories about personal experiences. These books provide a view into other cultures that students can learn from and celebrate with friends.
