My students will not only be able do lessons in the STEM field, but will be able to make those lessons hands on. Based on our current funding, our students do not get the same opportunity as most larger schools, and the students lose out on the hands on portion of STEM. This is the most exciting portion of STEM. We will do a lesson on propulsion and aero dynamics, teaming with our Science department. After this lesson the students will be able to put to use what they have learned by showcasing in teams of two the ability to launch a rocket on our football field. This gift will be the highlight of most these students time in high school. The school has very limited resource to do hands on.
