Phonemic awareness, or how students sounds letters out to make words is one of the most challenging skills to acquire. With a whiteboard table we can write as we sound out, erase as we hear the different sounds, and finally spell our words. Creating my own game board that is customized to each students needs. Imagine coming to speech therapy with a giant game board as the table to work on skills just for you!? Planning makes perfect! This table will allow the students to be able to plan essays and bodies of writing then refer back to the "plan" that is right on the table as they write their material.
