There are so many moving parts when it comes to having a successful athletic season. Parent cooperation, travel, health, and of course luck all have a say in what makes a season a blast or a failure. However, one thing that should not be in limbo is resources/equipment. As a classroom teacher I want to put my students in the best situation possible to learn. As an athletic coach I have that same drive. You accomplish both by giving student athletes basic needs. That was the launching pad for this project. Please partner with me as I look to use this platform to secure equipment for our boys basketball program. The goal of our basketball program is to use a simple sport to teach young men about life. Our goals are to shape them for the future and to allow the challenges of playing basketball ( or any sport ) to help shape their character as players but more importantly people. However, without the proper resources to make this happen this can be a challenge. With your help everyone wins and I hope you would be honored to join with me as I teach these young men X's and O's but also develop quality young men to serve a community one day.
