These activities will give my students the chance to interact with their world in a STEM frame of mind. My students spend much of their home time on technology at home, believing that technology is all games. I want to show my students that there is more to STEM activities and technology than just Minecraft and video games. My students also don't always get the chance to play with Legos or fine motor activities because families don't have the money to supply these things at home. A lot of these activities my students may never get to see again because of lack of funds. I plan to use these activities for team-building exercises and exposure to STEM in ways that incorporate fun and learning. My hope is my students learn to question the world around them and learn how these machines work.
