These items will help improve my students' learning in my classroom. My students with disabilities need a little extra support when they are learning academic concepts, especially in math. The manipulatives that I have included in this project will help my students have a more concrete understanding of math concepts, such as addition and subtraction. My students also need breaks throughout their day in between academic blocks in their schedule. The classroom divider and set of books will both help my students have a great break area where they can relax and get ready for their next lesson. The divider will help create a defined space where my students can go in the classroom, without distracting other students who are still working. I also would love to be able to build up my classroom library of books for my students to look at pictures in and read!
