Students need to learn the importance of budgeting and saving money. AKJ Education has a collection of 10 books called Making Money Decisions and several board games to help students learn to budget and save money. Having these tools available to students as they are forming their ideas about money management will be a helpful tool to help them learn strategies like going to a bank to get an account, making a budget and living within in their means. Making Money Decisions Financial Literacy Kit and Games will be a valuable tool to teach saving money; having a wallet as a tool to show the importance of saving will help too! I can't wait for my students to know that Money Matters and that if they are smart with the choices they make they can make their money stretch. I also want them to learn to make purchases and buy the things they need and on special occasions too buy things they LOVE. The wallets will be raffled. Thank you for considering my project and caring about my students.
