My students will be coming into this brand new STEM lab once a week this year. I would love for them to expand their minds using these new products to complete tasks, become critical thinkers, and explore the world outside of the "regular" classroom. This will give them the opportunity to grow in many ways and will also let their imagination run wild. This is the beginning of something fun and exciting for these elementary students. Please help us fund our STEM lab and help our school grow into a more fun Science friendly environment! These task cards and other projects will be available to the students all year. They will allow them to come up with ways to create certain projects without giving them step by step instructions. Doing this will strengthen their critical thinking skills which will help in all core subjects as well. I plan on using all of these supplies in stations so everyone will get to use these supplies the day they are in the classroom. I have requested a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card in order to purchase task cards for our STEM Bins to be used in stations. These cards have tasks and a list of materials to use with a picture example of what their product could look like. These will be good ways for students to grow their creativity and critical thinking skills.
