My students love making arts and learning about the traditions of the Lunar New Year for Vietnamese as we learn the language skills. We would greatly appreciate your donations so that they can practice speaking, writing, and learning the cultural aspects of Vietnam during this special holiday. We will be doing the greetings and making red envelopes along with learning about the animals in the zodiac. We will be recording this for the school district as well as the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The lesson materials will be printed and distributed across all 3-grade levels in color and each student will have a kit of materials to work independently or with their group members. They will also be writing the greetings in the target language and seeing their staff on the school site.
