The goal in my P.E. class is for students to learn how to be active, as well as, try many different ways to exercise. Students get exposed to many sports during their P.E. career, but hockey seems to be left out. In fact, there are many sports that don't make it to the P.E. classroom because there isn't enough funding to support all types of athletic adventures. The hockey equipment will allow students to learn different ways they can push their bodies and minds to a different level than other sports. Hockey will encourage students to step out of their comfort zones and try something they have never done before. My students will also learn how to work as a team in strategizing how to get a goal.
