The products I'm requesting will help meet the sensory needs of my students. The fidget toys will be used to help my students remain engaged and calm. The weighted animals and blankets will give my students the physical stimulation and support they need to reduce anxiety and stress. The wiggle cushions will give my students the opportunity to fidget and move the way they need to. I have noticed how much more my students are able to accomplish and how much more comfortable they feel when they have sensory and fidget items available. Many of them struggle with anxiety and need to stim, fidget, or have something weighted available to feel calmer. The light coverings will help reduce the overstimulation that my students get from the lights. When my students have the sensory support they need, they feel confident, loved, and ready to learn.
