I am requesting a sand water table, early language activity boxes, words resource box, magnatiles, book bins and more. Students with hearing loss have a more challenging time developing their language and literacy skills. These activities and materials will help my students practice and develop their language and academic skills that will set them up for success! In my classroom, we work on vocabulary, development letters, letter sounds, rhyming, counting, colors, and comparing shapes and sizes. Explicitly teaching these early learning concepts is an essential part of these little learners’ educational journey! “Hearing people have the ability to remove barriers that prevent deaf people from achieving their dreams.” - Marlee Matlin
