I am requesting hands-on math manipulatives, art supplies for promoting creativity, flexible seating options, stimulating learning games, and anchor charts. All of these supplies would greatly benefit my diverse group of learners! Visuals and hands-on models help my students with disabilities more independently problem solve. The materials such as fraction strips and connecting cubes help students practice to gain a more concrete understanding of abstract concepts. Having access to various art supplies inspires students to channel their inner creativity for academic tasks as well as during free time. Flexible seating such a the yoga balls provide stimulation to students with sensory and attention needs. Having these supplies would allow me to plan even more unique lessons that promote physical movement and artistic expression.
