These materials will make a difference in my classroom by allowing the students' thoughts and emotions to be heard. These books will be used both in whole group read-aloud settings and in times where the book's message may help an individual student. This diverse list of books will give my students more motivation to read because they are able to relate to the topics of the books. I want to allow students to have fun when reading, and I believe these books will accomplish that goal by relating to and inspiring them.
