The majority of my students come from limited income families where English is a second language. Their daily lives usually don't involve anything outside their immediate community. Parents are eager and want success for their children but are also limited by their lack of knowledge of the English language, lack of time that could be dedicated to extracurricular activities and homework(due to multiple jobs), and lack of resources. Even so, they have complete respect for educators and try their best to help their children succeed.
