The materials requested will be provided to classrooms to help student regulate emotions and refocus their energy. Our goal is to help students stay in their learning environment, without loosing instruction. These items will help center, calm, and redirect students who may have an array of emotions. The school day can have many demands on our students and as educators it is important we provide an environment for children to feel secure. These Calming Corners are a place children can go when they need just a little break to regain that sense of emotional security.
