I am a first year Special Education teacher. As my role has changed, so does the tool I need to best support my students. I have many students with a variety of disadvantages and disabilities. Along with these struggles, students also are at a disadvantage economically and parents cannot afford these tools themselves. I work in a Title 1 school and it is my responsibility to provide these tools for students that do not have the means to acquire them themselves. I want to create a space that supports all students. I am striving to create an equitable and accessible environment to all students. Help me in acquiring tool that help me to meet the needs of all my students.
