Creating a student union will be a safe space for students to be able to socialize. Like many students, my students have endured the loss of a close loved one, have endured the frustration of online schooling, have endured social isolation. The student union will allow for an appropriate time and place to socialize so students can prioritize course work during their classes. Students will be able to utilize this space during lunch and after school fostering much needed social interactions. School tends to be the only place the students can socialize with one another due to the community not having parks, libraries, theaters etc.

About my class
