The school I will be at has not had a school counselor in FIVE years. There are some students about to leave the elementary school, whom do not know what a school counselor is. I have been blessed with the opportunity to go to this school and build a school counseling program from the bottom up. The school has ZERO materials for me to begin with. The materials in this project will help me build a counseling office. A space where the student can come to learn, to calm down, and to have fun. There is flexible seating which will help students be able to choose where to sit during the lessons. There is toys to help build a calm down center. All of these materials will be utilized to create a counseling space!
