These materials will help our children in many ways. Most of our children come from lower income families. The families do the best the can with the recourses they have. The children are not always given opportunities to come in contact with different learning skills. Colors, shapes and sorting is one area that our chidden or lacking. The materials will help not only in the classroom but also continued learning at home. Sorting and classifying objects around them will help our children learn and understand different attributes around them. This will not only help with cognitive skills but also growing knowledge for measurements in math and observations for science. It is important to us that we have a hand in helping children develop a range of thinking skills that builds the foundation for later problem solving.
