These items will allow students to work safely within the auto shop by allowing students to have proper personal protective equipment. A few of the standards include: 1.1.2 Utilize safe procedures for handling of tools and equipment 1.1.5 Utilize proper ventilation procedures for working within the lab/shop area 1.1.10 Comply with the required use of safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, and shoes during lab/shop activities Along with these items is a TIG welder which is found on the recommended equipment list that we could definitely benefit from having in our automotive shop.
