These items will assist students in my school with learning about strong emotions and appropriate techniques for managing these emotions. Many students learn best through play, therefore these games and sensory items will assist my students with learning about their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Many of the students that I interact with, have challenges with understanding their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and oftentimes they may feel frustrated and this may cause the student to express negative or unsafe behaviors in the classroom. The pandemic has exacerbated some anxiety, depression, and worry in students and these items will help my students with addressing some of these symptoms.
